Terms of Service — Lingvofy

1. About Lingvofy

Lingvofy ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered language learning platform that allows users to practise conversations with AI tutors in multiple languages. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. User responsibilities

By using Lingvofy, you agree to:

Provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
Keep your account credentials confidential and not share your account.
Use the service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with applicable law.
Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service or its AI models.
Not use the platform to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content.
Not use the service if you are under 13 years of age.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these responsibilities without prior notice.

3. Subscription and billing

Lingvofy offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (Pro and Premium). Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.

Cancel anytime — you can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you retain access until then.
No refunds — we do not issue refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-cycle, your access continues until the period ends.
Price changes — we reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect.
Payment processing — payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. Their terms and privacy policy also apply to payment transactions.

4. No guarantee of language fluency

Lingvofy provides AI-assisted language practice tools. We do not guarantee that using our platform will result in fluency, proficiency, or any specific language outcome. Language learning results depend on individual effort, consistency, and factors outside our control.

5. Intellectual property

The Lingvofy platform, its AI tutors, branding, and underlying technology are owned by Lingvofy and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without written permission.

Content you produce during sessions (your messages, vocabulary notes) remains yours. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to process and store this content solely to provide the service to you.

6. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime. We will endeavour to notify users of planned maintenance in advance but are not liable for service interruptions.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lingvofy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or that the AI tutors will always provide accurate language guidance.

9. Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a notice in the dashboard. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
